Which is better?

Hi,

Would this be a sufficient set to cool a i7 920 @ 3Ghz system with a ATI 4800 graphics card?
And is it a complete set? I am not missing anything?

My goal was to get a silent as possible system.
Afraid that the Cape Cora HF 1042 would not be sufficient for future needs,
I have long doubted to get the 9x120mm fan based Phobya Xtreme NOVA 1080 Radiator, letting it run on a lower rpm.
But I am unsure of how loud it would be. The 25 dba mentioned in the product description is too loud for me.

The 25dBA shown in the description means the maximum sound level @max rpm. So if you use a fan controller you can slow them down to a speed you won't hear.

The sound is important to me because often i'm producing music in the middle of the night.
I can't use any noise during that time. Its the main reason for me to go water cooling.

Would I need a controller per fan or just one for the whole device?
They don't seem to come cheap.

You only need one Fan Controller. Most of them have 4 ports so you can control 4 fans, or with an adapter even more. A very good controller is this: http://www.aquatuning.nl/product_info.p ... zwart.html
I have it myself and it works very well. In addition you can control the fanspeed depending on the temperature.
