At first I must say, my english is not so good, but I hope so you understand me
I think, the sonsor was compitable with the Koolance RP1000! Add it at die backside of the Koolance RP1000 an it shout be do..^^

i was busy and could not try the sensor sooner.

and after plug in it on the rp980 and boot the system, it shows 69°C and nothing else. I tried to reverse polarity of the plug and still 69°C

so i guess it is NOT compatible with rp980 and rp1000, because the electronic part of both is the same.
